Week 2: March 19, 2015 – Post Catheter Ablation Recovery Update

Another perfect week as I didn’t have a single heart palpitation or any symptoms from the ablation whatsoever. There have been no changes in my supplementation other than I took Natural Calm Magnesium occasionally in place of the ReMag magnesium. I still maintained around 750mg of magnesium per day.

I also had an appointment with a naturopathic doctor this past week to have an EXAtest done. I’m looking forward to the results because I’ll finally know what my electrolyte levels really are so I can adjust my diet and supplementation accordingly. I’ll be posting the results of that test as soon as I get them.

My weight was 175 lbs. I have lost three pounds since the ablation (I was 178 lbs. at the time of the ablation). I’m down 40 pounds from my all-time high of 215 pounds just six months ago.

While I’m thrilled to death of my weight loss success, I’d like to maintain 175 lbs. now. I don’t really want to lose any more weight but if I do so be it. However, I don’t really want to go below 170 lbs. so we’ll see how things unfold.
