This past week has been great! Absolutely no issues to report with my heart or my overall health. My heart rate continues to beat in the 80’s – more than 30 beats per minute more than what my heart rate was prior to my ablation (52 beats per minute) but that’s o.k. I don’t even notice a difference and I know it will eventually come down over time. My weight is stable at 175 pounds and I haven’t changed anything […]

Week 2: March 19, 2015 – Post Catheter Ablation Recovery Update
Another perfect week as I didn’t have a single heart palpitation or any symptoms from the ablation whatsoever. There have been no changes in my supplementation other than I took Natural Calm Magnesium occasionally in place of the ReMag magnesium. I still maintained around 750mg of magnesium per day. I also had an appointment with a naturopathic doctor this past week to have an EXAtest done. I’m looking forward to the results because I’ll finally know what my electrolyte levels […]

I did wash my car this week and I cleaned out the garage but I did these things very slowly as not to be too active. I probably shouldn’t have done either one the first week after the ablation but I was feeling great […]

For my ablation they poked me in the neck and two in the groin. I read that these insertion spots can be sore and even bruise for a few days after the procedure but I didn’t experience any of that. I didn’t experience any soreness, pain, or bruising. The only part that was uncomfortable was the tape they use to keep the swabs in place. I have no idea what kind of tape it is but it almost fuses with […]
