This was another great week. For starters, it was another week of total NSR and not a single heart palpitation. I also managed to lose another pound so I’m down to 170 pounds now. I’ve lost a total of 47 pounds since August last year. When I started my weight loss journey my goal was to get to 190 pounds. I said if I could do that I’d do back flips. Week 7: April 23, 2015 – Post Catheter Ablation Recovery Update
This week was quiet just like last week. I had no afib or heart palpitations of any kind. And yes, my resting heart rate continues to beat in the mid to upper 80s. On the weight loss front I lost another pound this week so I’m down to 171 pounds now. Well it was another non eventful week – no afib or heart palpitations of any kind since the ablation. My heart rate continues to be in the 80’s. It was another uneventful week – no afib, palpitations or anything; just another totally quiet and normal week. My weight is holding steady at 175 lbs. and my heart rate is still in the mid to upper 80’s. It will be interesting to see how long it takes before it finally starts coming down. I made an appointment with an integrative doctor next week to discuss the low magnesium levels that were discovered after my EXA Test. He offers IV […]

It has been another peaceful week without any heart issues to speak of – not even a single heart palpitation. My heart rate continues to be much higher than my pre-ablation levels of 52 bpm but no biggie. I don’t feel any different because of it. I know it will come down in the months to come. My supplement regimen hasn’t changed at all from week one but I will be increasing my magnesium to 900 – 1,000mg per day […]
