My Fifth Cardioversion Experience

This blog post begins where my previous post left off. It was Saturday morning, November 26th. I had been in atrial flutter for almost 72 hours straight. My resting heart rate was anywhere between 110 – 145 beats per minute over that time. I was heading to the ER for my fifth cardioversion.

Happy Thanksgiving (Not)! – AFIB Returns After 7+ Year Hiatus

I had my first ablation back in March 2015. I was tremendously fortunate to get over 7 1/2 years of total AFIB freedom from that one ablation, but it all came to an end on Thanksgiving Eve. My AFIB not only returned, but the episode lasted almost 72 hours and required an electrical cardioversion to end it.

My 7+ Year Post Afib Ablation Update
